Council of Sant Quirze del Vallès
The design of the corporate identity of a council has to take into account the rules applicable to coats of arms and the technological demands of the Internet, as well as the need to meet legal requirements. The Council of Sant Quirze del Vallès decided to use the city’s shield as a representative symbol of the city hall. The design exercise involved simplifying the shield to adapt it to the needs of digital reproduction and printing while following the rules applicable to coats of arms and the Regulation on the Symbols of Local Authorities in Catalonia.
