Fomento de las Artes y el Diseño (FAD) 2005
FAD is one of the world’s most prestigious designer associations. Each year, a different design studio is chosen to design its report and, in 2005, Cèl·lula was the chosen studio. To illustrate the 2004 report, we used the image of a big navel, a take on the image that graphic designers often convey. The navel idea reappeared constantly throughout the publication in the form of graphics, typefaces, etc. The work, which consisted of two books (report on activities and members directory), was presented in a glossy PVC jacket reminiscent of a perfume product.
