Museums of Sabadell

Signage design

The smokestacks of the old textile mills of Sabadell bear witness to the city’s industrial past. In 2007, Sabadell’s museums held a competition to design the signage for this heritage. Our proposal, which won the design competition, took the form of a small tribute to the industrial revolution and the work of Sabadell-born artist Antoni Vila Arrufat.

It consisted of a series of totem signs in Corten steel (rust finish) with the Futura typeface engraved on them.
